top ten things i'm looking forward to this summer

1. camp. camp. camp. camp. camp. camp. camp. It is so surreal that I'm going. that i'll finally be a tecumseh counselor. that i'll be there for ten weeks of amazing campness.
2. being tan. i love being tan. not enough to go sit in a tanning bed, but i just love the glow of summer.
3. being at tecumseh with michelle maggie and sarah ALL AT THE SAME TIME! it'll be awesome. even better than our roadtrip at the beginning of this year.
4. michelle being a CILT. yeah this isn't me, but i am seriously so excited for her to be a CILT. that's one of the things i've spent the most time regretting not being able to do, and i'm glad that she gets the chance to do that and go to YL camp too.
5. yvette is sending me a care package at camp. i'm already excited. care packages are so spectacular because, well, people care about you.
6.  going swimming everyday.  I really like swimming.  I’m excited to meet new friends and campers at the pool and lake and be a CT lifeguard
7. taylor swift concert. This could be the greatest thing.  I think it will be.  i love so much of what she stands for and i'm excited to see her in person, especially after a bunch of people in des moines saw her just the other day.  so jealous.
8.  i'm excited about the number of people who want my summer address and who want to come visit me.  i don't really know how visitors work out, but i do love me some mail.  i like that people still want to be friends, even though i won't be around peoria to be friends.  i like my friends.
9. missing out on family reunion drama.  no matter what side of the family, something always goes down when everyone gets together.  i really wish that since we're family, everyone could work a little harder to get along, but that never happens, so i'm glad that i won't have to witness or deal with that.
10. giving out friendship bracelets.  it's always just so much more fun in the summer. friendship and summer just go together.
